Dr. Chintan Patel completed his MBBS and postgraduate studies from the prestigious B.J. Medical College, Ahmedabad. In 2002, he cleared the M.Ch. entrance examination and joined Smt. Shardaben General Hospital as an M.Ch. Plastic Surgery trainee. In 2005, he secured the first position in the M.Ch. examination and was awarded a Gold Medal for his outstanding academic and surgical excellence. He later joined Ganga Hospital, Coimbatore, where he gained advanced training in microvascular and hand surgery, along with exposure to the latest techniques in trauma and reconstructive surgery.

He started his career as an assistant professor in the Department of Burns and Plastic Surgery at B.J. Medical College and Civil Hospital for one and half year. Here he got the opportunity to work and was able to prove his outstanding ability by handling complex cases of trauma, burns, reconstructive and microvascular surgeries. Then he joined Vasudhan Arjin Cosmetic and Laser Surgery Centre, where he got an opportunity to learn types of cosmetic surgery along with reputed plastic surgeon Dr. L.D. Dhami.
He is inspired by the prominent teachers like Dr. Udayan Vyas, Dr. Santosh Raibagkar, and Dr. Himanshu Vora. They showed him the path of blending the art with a science of plastic surgery.
